- Domestic Flight from Mumbai to Udaipur
- Pre-paid cab (Rs 650/- ) from Udaipur Airport to Udaipur City
- Hotel Checkin : Hotel Lake Paradise near Gangaur ghat Udaipur http://www.hotellakeparadise.com/
- Lake Paradise Hotel is very much in the city and surrounded by famous tourist attractions like Bagore ki Havali, Pichola lake, City Palace, Jagdish Temple and market
- Lake Paradise Hotel is average and budget accommodation for family, the only down side being no breakfast/food available in the hotel and there is no parking space.
- Art and craft market at Hatipol is good market to buy regional monuments
- Dinner at Rainbow restaurant facing to lake pichola and an awesome view. It gets full quickly so try to book table in advance.
Day 2 : 8th Dec 2016
- Jagadish Temple situated midst old city is at walking distance from hotel
- City Palace just next to Jagadish Temple. This is huge spread palace so plan to spend couple of hours and carry sufficient water bottles to keep you hydrated.
- Jagmandir Palace is situated on island in lake pichola. Boat ride to this place is bit costly and costs differ based on time. Rs 400 per head from 1100am to 0200 pm and Rs 700 per head from 0300pm to 0700 pm. View of City Place and Lake Palace and Udaipur city on the banks of pichola lake is eye treat from the boat ride.
- Must visit : Bagore ki havali Puppet show (from 7pm to 8pm)
- Dinner at Natraj Hotel near railway station. Authentic Rajasthani thali...like THAAALI
- Local autorikshaw charges ~ Rs 100 for 3-4 km of distance
Day 3 : 9th Dec 2016
- Tourist places within Udaipur city like Sahelionki ki badi, Fateh Sagar Lake etc is not worth spending time and energy but if you want local autorikshaw charges ~500 and will take you to 4-5 tourist spots.
- Must visit places near Udaipur city : like Sas-bahu temple (known as "sahstrabahu" as well) is ancient 11th century old temple with unique carving and structure.
- There are religious temples like Ekling-ji and Nathdwara temple around Udaipur city
- but need to plan properly to avoid crowd and temple timings.
Day 4 : 10th Dec 2016
- Hotel Lake Paradise Checkout and head towards Mount-abu
- Travel Mode : Cabs costing ~3500 from Udaipur to Mount-abu and takes 3hrs.
- There are travel buses starting from Udaypol charges Rs 250 per head from Udaipur to Mount-abu and takes ~5hrs to reach
- Check-in : Hotel Lake Palace (http://www.savshantihotels.com/Hotel_Lake_Palace/index.html)
- Enjoy evening at Nakki Lake with Ginger tea and/or Softy along with market surfing
Day 5 : 11th Dec 2016
- Must Visit Place : Dilwara Temple near Mount-abu an ancient temple with fantastic carving and art on marble is speechless
- Other places like Someshwar Temple (Golden Fish), abu devi temple and Guru Shikhar are good to visit.
- Places like peace park, sunset point and more are just over hyped and are not that great.
- Local cabs charges ~Rs 1200/- for all the tourist sight seeing.
Day 6 : 12th Dec 2016
- Hotel Lake Palace Check-out
- Cab charges ~Rs 3500 from Mount-abu to Udaipur airport.
- You can book travel bus ticket ~Rs 250 per head from Mount-abu to Udaipur and from there you can book cab to airport for ~Rs 650.
Udaipur Must and Mustn't :
- Lazy Walk on narrow roads of old udaipur city
- City Palace, Bagore ki haveli
- Rainbow Restaurant, Hotel Ambrai, Natraj Hotel (Rajsthani Thali)
- Sas-bahu temple
Other tourist spots in Udaipur city like fateh sagar lake, sahelion ki badi etc
Mount-abu Must and Mustn't :
- Dilwara temple, Someshwar temple, rock climbing
